I've been meeting up with Jo so often in a week! haha. My Laksa craving was totally satisfied the other day when Jo's bro brought us out to Katong! We had Gelare at Siglap since it's tuesday. =))
Yay. Finally, my throat cannot stand all the good and heaty food i had since the weekends, I fell ill. At first, a slight sore throat since monday but it became full blown on wednesday... leading to a fever. I hate that. My body temperature fluatuates every 4 hours(after i took the panadols, the fever subsides and after 4 hours.. it rise like stock prices and the cycle continues). So at first i thought i don't have fever after taking the panadols and i went out with Jo. She left me with no choice. When i received her call, she said she's already turning into my block. haha. Had more good food and did some shopping! We went so many places la... I was freezing cold every where i went. Finally i reached home, took the panadols and curled up in my bed without the fan. It's freezing!

Oh well...

13) Love heels, especially those uber high and slim ones(refer to pic below) but they're so difficult to walk in!

14) One of my desires is to buy the heels from Aldo, i've been walking in and out of that shop umpteen times but never purchase anything! (Right Jo?)

15) I'm turning 21 this year.

My weekends is sweet. We've covered many places in that 3 days to have the great food. Serangoon Gardens(Oyster Omelet, Egg Curd!) Geylang(Frog leg Porridge!), Henderson Wave, Mt Faber, BB(Prata!). Time for exercise! lol. =DD

That day after school, i went work, and after work i went all the way to the east for the steamboat with my friends. I was feeling uber moody that day and tired thus didn't really enjoy myself. The steamboat started quite late and we were still eating at 11pm! With the birthday surprises, we started gambling only at 1am. -_-" My initiate plan was to leave at 11pm cause i've got work the next morning ah! In the end it was dragged till 1.30am and my friend sent me back while they continue to play till 5am.

On the third day of chinese new year, being a hardworking me went to school. Intending to study... but the school was NOT open! It ain't a holiday! How slack can my school be?! Supposedly 'study' day was ruined cause we had no place to go. In the end, we went the science centre! It was a very random and last minute decision. :)

The guys crawled the very 'scary'(as described by them) pathway into this.

I still remember playing this when i was in primary school...

My very 'daring' friend took the first sniff... ewwww.

Ain't this cool? They're on TV! lol.

We tried to act like broadcasters... but the table is too low, plus the guy's poor photography skill. tsk. nothing to say.

Another day wasted... actually i didnt studied for this whole chinese new year week. All the gatherings and work on friday and saturday are enough to tire me out. People please motivate me to study because prelims are less then a month away!

That night, we aimlessly followed the road and ended up in some ulu place. Luckily we came back in one piece and were not eaten up by some ghost there. haa. the road is empty and quiet... I almost froze to death. brrr...

The next day, I woke up with swollen eyes but that didnt stop me from going out. =) Had brunch with my grandma and my cute lil cousin. A sms came along and i went to play pool! cool...
Later at night was the reunion dinner at my office. It was an early chinese new year celebration and we had steamboat in the classroom. Eating drinking talking... (:

I've so much to update i don't know where to start.

Alright, in random order, I'll talk about my mom's birthday first! I had a date with her for a haircut that day... and then i treated her dimsum at Xin Fu Yum Cha. simple yet sweet. =))

Last min movie date with Jo. So she picked me up from my grandma's place and we went to watch Yes Man. Later at night, we watched another round of movie... IP Man. That movie is darn nice. (: oh, this neoprint thingy is for the sake of fun-ness. The last time i took a neoprint was in my JC days? nostalgic...

Another birthday, Xf's 21st birthday. I rushed down from work(almost couldnt leave on time), went home to grab the food and presents. was very very tired. hmm. didnt take a pic of the presents for her. I spent quite a few hours to do up the simple board. haha. I hope she likes it.

Yesterday, I went clubbing with my ~~colleagues~~ friends at zouk. We couldn't get in phuture by the time we reached so we're only left with mambo, which i don't really like. The guys ordered drinks and shockingly we had 4 jugs. 1 for each?! We played silly games to finish the drinks. Mambo with this group of friends were surprisingly much more fun. I mean the music ain't for me what... haha. They even played Ye Lai Xiang and "ten little indians". But all in all... it's the company that matters. I had great fun.

The last oversea trip with my family was korea and that was 2 or 3 years back. I'm glad we went phuket this year despite the recession.

Finally reached the airport and very fast, we were escorted to the hotel.

The scenes here looked more or less similar to Malaysia... except you see lotsa thai words.

After a long ride, we finally reach our motel! though it's small.... but i really like it.

I LOVE this huge bed! It can nicely fit in 3 people and i can even roll over it many times. =)

On the first day, we went shopping around, but sadly there's nothing much to buy. Stuffs are almost the same price as those in sg, plus the hard bargaining with the shopkeeper... totally not worth it. Shopping around in the market places for nice clothes and we realise we're the only few shoppers there... where are everyone? Then i felt the impact of recession and the Bangkok riots.

Thai foods are simply irresistible... the tomyum soup is soooooo spicy i tell you...

I'm amazed at the cravings on the watermelon... They are like even nicer than real flowers. haha

You can even see the watermelon seeds...

The tuk-tuk (which is very different from the ones in Bangkok) took us to many places away the beaches nearer to the town.

It's a long road trip... but alot of things to see...

like... this kinda stuff... haha. and also big fat smelly elephants and hot babes & hunks walking around in their beach wears.

Yikes. my bro and i just popped it into our mouths...

Chestnut factory! so... The workers had to actually take out from the nuts from their shells one-by-one.

Day 2 dinner at Fuji jap restaurant. funny hur. eating jap food in thailand... but they're cheap what... =P

Off we go to the Coral island! woot... It was sucha bumpy ride. nice scenery too!

The beach is soooo clean... the water are soooo clear! welcome to paradise...

Snorkeling is the main highlight... You can see beautiful corals under the water and small small jellyfishes and clown fishes swimming around us! I saw a few sea cucumber deeper in the water... but my brother saw sea urchins! how nice...

Next we went for ATV rides(if i remember correctly)... for a good whole 2h!

My sis ain't a good driver... i could die from crashing. phew~

We're up the mountain... and the view here is magnificent.

It was really scary driving on the steep and uneven slopes...

It was the phuket carnival that day... we're lucky to catch it cause it's only a day event.

While waiting, we sat on the curbs and had thai snacks.

The best part of the carnival is the transvestites. their boobs are huge la... some never bother to wear their clothes properly, thus showing off their nipple tapes. eeks.

Christmas is nearing! =)

The Christmas lightings at orchard road... candylicous.

Was heading down to butterfactory that night after work. I was so tired and sleepy but dragged myself there... in the end we went in late and it was full house by 12am. No choice but to go double o for their cheap drinks first. the place was unbearable... hot and stuffy. haha. In the end we cannot stand it and went back to butterfact. Partied till 3 and headed home... half dead.

Then, with very lil sleep, I woke up at 9am to head down to Sentosa... The sun was good la... should have gone to ubin for cycling instead. tsk. ahha. oh, ya... i'm the only girl yet again.. sad case.

It was totally unexpected.

They played Britney Spears's Womanizer before Rihanna came out. how weird.

She started off with Disturbia but it's screwed cause the mic wasn't working. tsk. She paraded the stage and all the fans just screamed and shouted.

That day I had dinner with my friends, a new mix of people hanging out together at holland v. I can't recall what we exactly did but we walked so much in the rain... ahur. and were laughing at every single thing.
The next day, which was yesterday, it was fright night. I was so freaked out when i saw the station im assigned to. It's the ulu toilet with no mirrors at all cause they say they're removed as you can see not only yourself in the mirrors at night. There's even a well inside the toilet with a toad in it.

We waited so damn long for the participants to reach our station. meanwhile, our beloved azan decided to cam-whore.

I don't understand what we were doing. haha.

This was supposed to be a group photo... but somehow you can only see me. heh heh.

So, I see all the girls getting into the cubicle of the toilet alone, how daring... i wouldnt dare to do it cause inside the cubicle, there's a mirror and a mannequin's head plus people behind the toilet scaringg them. freak. I was so scared that i dare not enter the toilet without light but after dont know how many cycles of the game, I can walk in and out of the place like it's my place except me going in the cubicles alone. yikes. It's draining all my energy after a whole night... that i decided to skip my lecture the next day. tsk. Some people just choose to ps me in a corner cos of some stupid misunderstanding but luckily i have friends who came to talk to me. thank you for the company for that lil while. Alright, i'm so not very happy that some things happened that way and how my friend behaved. It's like i have a never-ending disappointment about this friend of mine, but nevertheless we're still sticking together(with many unhappiness, at least on my side). sigh.

It has been a while since i last felt this. warmth. I don't mean the global warming effect. What i meant was the warmth of family love.
This morning i dragged myself out of bed to have breakfast with my parents. As much as i wanted to continue lazing on my comfy bed, the thought of visiting my grandma after breakfast pushed me out of it. I haven't seen her for quite awhile after she had discharged from the hospital.
So, we had breakfast at the hawker center and coincidentally bumped into my uncle and aunty together with my many lil cousins(4?). After which my dad brought my grandma down to join us. Then, my grandpa who was hanging around the place came to say hi. It's like an impromtu breakfast gathering. =) I took care of my lil cousin boy and fed him breakfast. He eats whatever i'm eating... and because of that, i had not enough food! haha. He only wants me to feed him cos when my mum took over to feed him, he rejected! lol. ok.. this is not the point. My grandma is looking good and strong. I'm happy for her. How often can we have this... a get-together-breakfast filled with laughter and joy.
At least the early wake-up was worth it. =D

Went to the beach again! =))

i think the rain has this one sided love affair with me. tsk. It rained! but we still went sentosa. The rain come and go... we were totally drenched from all the walking in the rain. Thinking of going back to vivo but since we are all wet, we might as well play in the rain. yea. stepped onto the sands and played volleyball which i totally suck at it. It stopped raining after awhile and the sun finally came up. =) Got myself tanned pretty much... played frisbee and it was so tiring. Although we were just doing passing, all the runnings to catch the frisbee is enough to exhuast us out.

We trekked for quite a distance and i got freaking scared when my friend wanted to pull me into a forest trail with no lights at all. I insisted... and didnt went in. god knows what will happen. Finally we settled down at the henderson bridge after a long round about and then we chatted for quite awhile.
my deepest darkest secrets. heh heh. Got home @ around 3am... i was dead beat.

Dragged myself to school today feeling very tired and all... my only motivation is to head back to my bed after school. haa. In the end... it didnt happen. I went down to the sim hostel open house and roam for awhile before i head down to SGH to visit my grandma. She just had her operation and hopefully she will be able to walk after a few days. yea... I'm happy today because my whole family eat out! =)) It's hard to get everyone together for a proper dinner.

My birthday ain't here yet but I've already blown my first birthday candle. Thanks to JUST colleagues. =) the Anna Sui lip gloss is very nice! It was a nice gathering at the glasshouse yesterday. After that was chilling at the alleybar. We thought it was boring so we stick back to our original plan and went to St. James... drank only a few sips and i almost puke. Ain't sober enough and whatever i did last night was blurred... but i know what i was doing, as always.

Went JB today with my beloved mummy... it had been a long time since i last accompanied her. Had nice and cheap jap food over at the city square and grabbed some cheap buys(tee-shirts half the price over at bugis).

Crazy shopping-s lately... in just 3 days after i got my pay, ive already spent $300! That is very scary! To think i still wanna get a new phone. tsk. Bought a Adidas waterbottle for my bro and a key pouch for my daddy... Like what my sis and I expected, their reactions to this surprise were uber cute. Seeing them so happy over the pressies, i'm feeling happy too. yay. shopping for my family all done!

One week holiday for myself seems short. hmmm... then again... if i stop work earlier, i won't have the money to splurge!

I cant exactly recall the last time i went NDP. Memories were very vague and i think the only one i remembered was the p5 one. Then, i was p5... getting excited over such performances and the fireworks. (: So, yesterday i went the NDP'08 at the floating platform. It was sucha fabulous one i must say. Went skating and pooling again with my colleague... geez. this is the second time i'm skating and i was so glad i didn't fell at all, though there's a few times i nearly did. enjoyed myself totally. Then it was pool! won like 3-1... finally had my revenge! undergone secret training the night before you see... =X
Dinner with barneys! at the arab street then chilling out at some pub. played some dumb drinking games where we modified it a lil and made it totally high. catch up with my fellow peeps and we cam-whored to the max.
Met up with dear pat just... went st. james for a drink or two and then club hop around... no... i never touch the dancefloor at all. =)) it was a nice catching up with her and her bf...

alrighty, before i go off for work...
just got back from downtown east a few hours ago. Had chalet 4 times in a month period, tsk tsk. Craziness in the activities we did ytd, it totally ruined my image. =( haa. we'll wait for the photos...

I almost died teaching my p4 kids today. 5 cheeky boys in the class creating havoc. Despite shouting at them so much, they're not scared at all! They're one cute bunch of kids though, i realize myself trying to curb my sudden burst of laughter at their 'naughtiness'. haha. (:

wild wild wet today with my besties and we had a splashing good time! haha. behaving like small kids at the children playground, getting all so excited when the bell rang for the water splashing, me getting stuck in the children slide twice, us trying to overturn each other on the floats, we wearing the life jacket so we can keep afloat at the wave pool, trying to get a lil tan despite the gloomy sky. thinking back at those moments put a smile on my face =D. After that, we went airport for Popeye cos i've been having this craving for long. Then, supposedly to catch a movie but.. all tics are sold out! how could it be when it's a Wednesday evening?! poor us... ended up shopping and spending. tsk.
but i had a great day. love the company... soooo much.

will be going back at the east for jo's departure and my chalet. =D
